What regulations does TRPscout help address?

What is a 'Travel Rule transaction'?
A Travel Rule transaction refers to a digital asset transfer that requires the transmission of originator and beneficiary information between regulated entities, as mandated by applicable regulations. Each qualifying transfer processed through TRPscout counts as one transaction.
What screening is included?
All plans include: PEP (Politically Exposed Person) screening and Sanctions and watchlist screening, including WHO-aligned and global lists. Higher-tier plans include enhanced screening logic, jurisdiction-aware rules, and additional datasets.
Does TRPscout store personal data?
TRPscout collects and processes only the data necessary to facilitate Travel Rule compliance. Data handling follows: Privacy-by-design principles, Encryption in transit and at rest, and Configurable data retention policies. Customers remain responsible for their own privacy and regulatory obligations.
Is TRPscout a SaaS or API product?
TRPscout is offered as: A secure SaaS platform and A fully documented API for integration into existing compliance or transaction systems. Private SaaS deployment is available for Advanced plan customers.
How quickly can we get started?
Most customers can be onboarded within: Same day for SaaS access, 1–3 business days for API integration. Advanced plans include assisted onboarding.
What happens if we exceed our transaction limit?
If you exceed your monthly transaction allowance: Additional transactions are billed at the applicable overage rate, or You may upgrade to a higher tier at any time. There is no service interruption due to overages.
Can we upgrade or downgrade plans?
Yes. You may: Upgrade at any time (effective immediately) or Downgrade at the start of the next billing cycle. Our pricing is designed to scale with your transaction volume and compliance needs.
Does TRPscout replace our existing AML provider?
No. TRPscout is designed to complement existing AML and transaction monitoring solutions by specifically addressing Travel Rule data exchange and counterparty compliance requirements. Many customers use TRPscout alongside their existing AML stack.
Is TRPscout regulator-approved or certified?
Regulators do not typically 'approve' individual compliance vendors. TRPscout is built to align with regulatory expectations and industry best practices, and many customers use TRPscout as part of their documented compliance framework when engaging with regulators or auditors.
